Poet, Creative Lead

As a Bahá’í mother, poet, and overall creative, I enjoy integrating the arts into all avenues of spiritual education. Serving children and families both professionally and socially has taken me from the inner-cities of the United States to the rural mountains of Lesotho and several countries in between. From organizing community plays and an interfaith children’s circle to creating books, crafts, and lessons that focus directly on Bahá’í principles, I find my purpose is contributing to child-centered environments. I currently serve as Primary Caregiver for my two radiant children and Creative Lead of the nonprofit Edith Institute, which focuses on promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion through transforming hearts.
