Academic Certificate Program: Social Transformation
As part of a privately funded non-profit organization under the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of the United States, Wilmette Institute invites interested upper-division undergraduate and graduate students to apply for admission into its academic certificate program in Social Transformation.
100% Tuition-free to all admitted program applicants
Why tuition-free? In line with our mission statement, the Wilmette Institute aims to attract diverse students and wishes to not add to their student loan debt. Research shows that tuition-free programs in higher education increase graduation rates and produce a better-educated workforce who gain increased earning capacity.
What about the cost of books and resources? Nearly all course academic resources are available to students as hyperlinks at no cost. Faculty occasionally assign resources unavailable on the Internet that students should obtain through WI library services, rental services, or purchases. Resources that must be rented or purchased will be avoided or kept to a maximum of $10 per course. Failure to rent or purchase an assigned academic resource will never affect student grades.
Space is limited to 25 students per course.
