Two Chances to Prepare for the Centenary of `Abdu’l-Baha’s Visit to North America

Learning more about `Abdu’l-Baha and the importance of His visit to North American in 1912 is the impetus behind two upcoming Wilmette Institute courses. The first one, `Abdu’l-Baha: His Life and Ministry, starts on December 1. Faculty include Anne Perry, who is making a film about `Abdu’l-Baha’s trip to America, and Duane Troxel, who has amassed a large collection of photographs of `Abdu’l-Baha and memoirs and newspaper articles about Him. Additional faculty includes Robert Stockman, who has written extensively about the early years of the Baha’i Faith in America and has at press a book entitled `Abdu’l-Baha in America. There may still be room in the course or you. Please check here.

The second course, `Abdu’l-Baha in America, begins on April 1, 2012, and will discuss `Abdu’l-Baha’s travels both chronologically and thematically, assessing His messages in given locales and His accomplishments. Anne Perry and Duane Troxel will also be faculty for this course. Sign up here.
