Learner Develops Courage and Devotion through Course on Advent of Divine Justice

The Advent of Divine Justice: Guidance for Winning Five Year Plan Goals (2019)
Faculty: Sherna Deamer

Denise Ebenhoech, from Shelby Township, Michigan, has completed more than a dozen Wilmette Institute courses since she joined us in 2018. Here in her own words she reflects on her experience taking The Advent of Divine Justice.

Denise Ebenhoech“Using this course and the insights it generated, I will further develop myself towards being a devoted servant of the Faith who teaches wherever and whenever possible. I’m not there yet, but this course definitely helped to develop an even greater desire to teach.

I got a much better understanding of the Tablets of the Divine Plan, how Shoghi Effendi organized and pushed to execute them, and how the Universal House of Justice is now guiding the Baha’i community further. I also realized the importance of The Advent of Divine Justice, there are so many gems in this letter!

I wouldn’t say I acquired or improved any skills, but I for sure got a big portion of motivation out of this course. I think this course will help me to develop more courage and be less fearful in teaching. I will use material from this course in deepening our community.

I really want to say a very big THANK YOU to Sherna Deamer for this excellent course and the lovely facilitating. There was a great portion of work involved in creating it, thinking about the questions, reading all the answers, and give guidance and motivation.

I cannot express how grateful I am for this course, so again, THANK YOU Sherna!!!”

EDITORS’ NOTE: Sherna Deamer is Lead Faculty for the upcoming course: Three World Order of Bahá’u’lláh Letters (3/26 to 5/6, 2020).
