BA Middle Tennessee State University

Department of Marriage and Family, Section: Relationships and Marriage

I’m a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), educator and blogger who is passionate about the empowerment of singles as they navigate dating, courtship, and marriage to build strong relationships and families. As a result, I created my coaching practice, Single to Smitten, through which I’ve coached and mentored singles as they navigate dating and relationships. I partner with them to optimize their mindset, create individualized action plans, and provide effective tools and strategies to create tangible and sustainable results.

I’ve led a workshop about personal empowerment at the Women’s Retreat at Louhelen Bahá’í School, co-presented a workshop about transformation at the Association of Bahá’í Studies conference, and authored over a dozen coaching blogs in my column titled “Inside Out” which was part of Soul Pancake and featured on Oprah.com. I’ve also coached and mentored coaches-in-training and completed supplemental coaching coursework in the areas of Neurolinguistic Programming, Emotional Freedom Techniques, and Positive Psychology.

My intention in serving as a member of the Wilmette Institute Marriage and Family faculty team is to facilitate the building of strong and healthy relationships and families as one of the most vital foundations of society. I’m grateful for the opportunity to support this agency of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of the United States as it continues to serve the community at large with its diverse course offerings.
