Monette Van Lith is a Life and Family Coach and the co-founder of the Family Advanced Childcare Training, LLC. Monette began her work with Family Advanced Childcare Training around 2010,  and she has centered her work on creating character and moral development training for parents and childcare providers. 

Monette has worked at various United Nations programs in Africa and at New York headquarters, including UNICEF and the World Health Organization. She was born in The Netherlands, grew up in Suriname, South America, and returned to The Netherlands to obtain a Masters degree in history and development at Leiden University. She served the research desk of the Bahá’í International Teaching Centre in Haifa, Israel, from 2014 to 2018.  

Monette’s coaching with individual adults and teens, as well as family clients, is based on fundamentals and tools from positive psychology and spiritual principles. She works with parents to clarify their purpose and formulate a vision for their family. She offers tools that aim to create a family environment that is both structured and joyful. She also conducts workshops for families, parents, and mothers on topics such as crafting a family mission statement, creating an individual or family vision board, and ingredients for a successful family meeting. She works with women to enhance coherence and family-work-life balance.

Monette has authored an activity book for families called: “Family Matters: Filling your home with purpose and love.” She lives in Concord, Massachusetts, in the United States, and she and her husband have a daughter in college and a son in middle school.
