I hold a Master of Philosophy in Film Theory & History from Trinity College Dublin, a Bachelors in Drama from San Francisco State University and an Associates in Speech Communications from Foothill College. I also earned certificates in Social Emotional Arts from UCLArts&Healing, Character Development Education from University of San Diego: Professional and Continuing Education and Certification in Leadership Development Coaching from the Co-Active Training Institute.
I work as an Adjunct Instructor in Film and Television Studies at De Anza College, Online Faculty for the Character Education Resource Center at University of San Diego’s School of Leadership and Education Sciences and Film Curation Consultant for Wayfarer Theaters. I am also the Founder of Wright Arts and I partner with Bauman Wellness as a Social Emotional Arts Facilitator of integrative wellness programs. I have facilitated arts education workshops and discussions with a focus on media literacy, character education, leadership development and holistic wellness at a number of schools and conference centers.
I am currently on the Board of Directors for the UNA Monterey Bay Chapter, serving on the Youth Education Committee and International Documentary Film Festival Committee, the Advisory Board for Bauman Wellness, a See Jane Advocate for the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media and a facilitator of educational materials developed by The Ruhi Institute. I’m also a member of the Society for Cinema and Media Studies.
