Course: Gems of Divine Mysteries and Other Early Tablets by Bahá’u’lláh (2021)
Faculty Mentor: Christopher Buck
Submitted by: Charlotte Wenninger
This is about my 10th course and is by far, other than the science and religion course**, the best course I have taken. I was an engaged learner throughout. I liked the discussion questions which were varied and reflective. My only disappointment was that I was unable to study more and answer all the questions.
Dr. Buck’s feedback on students’ posts was exceptional. He was a true servant to our learning experience and I appreciated his encouragement and enthusiasm. I think he would be a great mentor for other facilitators whose discussion questions are not as engaging, or for new facilitators who could look at this course as an example of how best to design a course and to word discussion questions that will lead to a valuable learning environment.
**Editor’s Note: The course “Science, Religion, and the Bahá’í Faith” will start on Thursday, August 26 (2021). Click the course title for details and to register.
