This document presents biographical information about the members of the first Local Spiritual Assembly of Wichita. It incorporates information about the development of the Bahá’í Faith in Wichita only as it relates to the individuals. A more complete history of the Bahá’í Faith in Wichita is available in other documents.

Richard Vore

Richard Vore has been a Bahá’í since November of 1969. He is retired and has served the Bahá’í community in many capacities before and since moving to Wichita, Kansas in 1980.  He took his first Wilmette Institute course (Writing Biographies and Histories) in 2017, with the aim of "attempting to write a history of the Bahá’í Faith in Wichita." This is the fruit of his endeavors.
