Kim Naqvi is a geographer who specializes in the study and research of social and economic development and economic geography. She has a special interest in the impact of technology on conventional industrialization-based approaches to development, the history of colonization and industrialization and associated changes in culture and values. She has a BSc in Biology, and an MA and PhD in Geography, and currently teaches geography at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada.
