James West

James WestJames West, MBA, PhD. is professor and former chair of economics and business at Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA. He also teaches at Lehigh University. His graduate degrees are from the University of Pune (India) and Lehigh University. In the mid 70′s he went to teach at the New Era School in Panchgani, India and participated in the rural development project affiliated with New Era. He has also spent time working as a Fulbright professor in Slovakia and has travelled extensively as a professor and Baha’i teacher. It was in India that he became interested in the relationship between the Baha’i Writings and economics, particularly in his primary research area of economic development. He was a long-time Representative for Huququllah for PA and is always learning about the profound aspects of that Law. A poet, he has also published a book of poems entitled “Wayward.”
