Fall-Term Courses (September – December 2018): A Bouquet of Choices

The Wilmette Institute has announced its courses for its Fall Term, which begins on September 1 and runs through December. The nineteen courses are a mix drawn from the departments of Bahá’í History and Texts; Religion, Philosophy, and Theology; Social Transformation; and Marriage and Family; as well as from the Section for Arts and Literature. Here is a chronological listing, by month, with some notes on the kinds of courses being offered each month:

SEPTEMBER 2018: September offers two courses that are available for possible college or university credit (an introduction to the Bahá’í Faith and an introduction to the history of the Faith). Be sure to read the article on credit courses in this issue. Two other courses help couples and parents develop new skills. Yet another will increase your ability to talk about how sustainable development ensures the prosperity of all. Finally, a new course will help you write about your understandings of the Bahá’í writings.
