Chelsea Lee Smith serves as the Parenting Section Coordinator for the Relationships Department and as Parenting faculty. She is passionate about promoting personal growth for both children and parents, and empowering parents with tools to walk a spiritual path with practical feet.
Chelsea holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, in Communications (Hons) and Women’s Studies, as well as Diploma of Counselling. She is also a certified Positive Discipline and Tuning in to Kids parent educator, Full-Circle Learning educator and assistant trainer.
Chelsea is the co-creator of Enable Me To Grow, a website dedicated to sharing resources for Bahá’í families. She has recorded two albums of prayers and quotations from the Writings called At First Light. Chelsea also has a website called Moments A Day where she shares practical inspiration for families of all backgrounds to connect, build character, and make a difference in their communities.
Chelsea has published ebooks, journals, storybooks, and digital workshops on the themes of character education, personal growth, and positive parenting. Chelsea has received several blogging awards and has presented her work on radio, podcasts, video summits, live panels, and workshops in person and online, as well as in classrooms and libraries.
Chelsea met her husband during her service at the Bahá’í World Centre in Israel, and she is now the mother of three children. Though originally from the USA, she currently lives with her family in tropical North Queensland in Australia.
