Ceylan Isgor, Ph.D. is a native of Turkey residing in the USA. She received her B.A. from the University of Maryland at College Park. She obtained a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Indiana University, Bloomington. She became a Baha’i during her studies in Bloomington. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship in the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She is currently a tenured associate professor of neuroscience in Florida Atlantic University, College of Medicine, Boca Raton, FL. She is married to Kevin Locke and is fascinated with and continue to learn about all aspects of Indigenous North American ways of life, particularly holding a non-native perspective.
