Babak Etemad is a gastroenterologist and currently serves as Medical Director of Endoscopy for the Main Line Health System in suburban Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his undergraduate education at Swarthmore College and medical school at Temple University School of Medicine. His post-graduate education was completed at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and the University of Pennsylvania. He served as Director of Endosonography at the University of Pittsburgh and as Chairman of the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans. His professional interest is intervention endoscopy and pancreas and bile duct disease.
